We are excited to finally reunite the cruise ports and destinations community prior to Seatrade Cruise Med, which takes place in Málaga on Tuesday 12 September 2022, following postponement in 2020.
Reimagined for 2022, the Ports and Destinations Dialogue will bring together cruise lines representing port operations, itinerary planning, port development, ground services, destination management, and air & sea services, with representatives from port authorities, cruise terminals, port agent services, destination management, tourism authorities, shore excursions, ground services, meet and greet, local attractions and transportation services.
The decarbonisation imperative is clear, but what practical steps can we take collectively to achieve these ambitions? How do we reassure local communities that we are acting now to limit our carbon footprint while at port The Dialogue will connect you with colleagues and peers facing these common issues, enable an exchange of ideas, and offer practical tools and checklists, so those cruise destinations will continue to be great places to live and visit.
Participants will have a unique opportunity to interact with industry peers, discuss the ideas and issues impacting the community and work together as we look ahead to the 2023 cruise season.
In addition, CLIA Cruise Line Members and Executive Partners will have the exclusive opportunity to attend our welcome reception at Hacienda del Álamo on Monday evening and come together on Tuesday morning in a series of pre-scheduled 1:1 appointments. This will be followed by the networking lunch and afternoon sessions which are open to all registered participants. All activities on Tuesday, 13 September will be held at the newly renovated and centrally located Hotel NH Málaga.
